A decade with The Happiness Planner
Another year has gone by. I just turned 37 a couple of weeks ago. I can’t believe how time flies. It feels like yesterday that I was 27—young, optimistic, and brimming with dreams and goals—excited to launch The Happiness Planner into the world.
Reflecting on the years that have passed, I’ve realized just how much time shapes us. Writing a book that captured my 16-year journey—in a fun, fictional way—was such a cathartic experience. It allowed me to revisit who I was, who I’ve been, and who I’ve become. It’s fascinating to see how much our desires, needs, and curiosities evolve as life unfolds.
Friendships are a perfect example of this evolution. The people we were drawn to in our 20s may not always be the same people we gravitate toward in our 30s. When I think back, I see how much my priorities have shifted over the years. The kind of partner I looked for, the kind of friendships I valued—they’ve all changed. And that’s okay.
